Directions, Transportation and Parking
Please read carefully: Travel in Atlanta is confusing for newcomers! A lot of our applicants get lost and arrive late.
The Steiner building is on the corner of Armstrong and Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. (click here for map)
Jesse Hill Jr. Drive was formerly Butler Street and some street signs and/or maps may still have the old name.
The interviews take place on the 3rd floor of the Steiner Building, 68 Armstrong Street SE, Atlanta, GA, 30303 (Room 304) on the Grady Hospital Campus. This is downtown, about 20-30 minutes from the Emory campus. The Steiner building entrance is across the street from the Grady Hospital Emergency Department ambulatory entrance on the northeast corner of Jesse Hill Jr. Drive and Armstrong St.
Parking is available in the Grady Hospital visitors’ parking deck (located on the corner of Jesse Hill Jr. Drive and Decatur Street) for $6.00/day. Space is usually not a problem early in the morning. The program has a limited number of parking validation stickers.
To access the hospital's visitors' parking deck, go to Martin Luther King Memorial Dr. (Exit 248 off of I-75/85), go west towards downtown and turn right on Jesse Hill Jr. Dr.
Jesse Hill Jr. Drive becomes one-way in the opposite direction after the deck. The directions to the parking deck are slightly different than to our offices, due to a number of one-way streets.
The interview location is also accessible by the city's public rail system Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). We are two block north of the Georgia State train station. Proceed past the hospital to the Steiner Building on the corner of Jesse Hill Jr. Drive and Armstrong Street. The entrance to the building is located on Armstrong Street across from the emergency department.
