Tammie Quest, MD, named a Visionary by American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine

The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine has announced its 2018 class of Visionaries. Dr. Tammie Quest, Director of the Emory Palliative Care Center of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center and Professor Emergency Medicine, is among the honorees. Every 5 years, AAHPM recognizes individuals who have made exemplary, impactful contributions to the field of hospice and palliative medicine. For this 30th anniversary occasion, nearly 150 individuals were nominated and more than 6,500 votes were cast. Dr. Quest is also Professor in Emory's Department of Medicine, a nationally recognized expert in palliative care in the emergency setting, and president-elect of the  AAHPM.
