Emory Healthcare Network Expands Urgent Care Options
Emergency Medicine Assistant Professor Nick Colovos, MD, medical director of strategy for the Emory Healthcare urgent care and CVS MinuteClinic partnership, has helped launch Emory's newly announced relationship with Peachtree Immediate Care and SmartCare Urgent Care as well as an expanded partnership with MinuteClinic of CVS Health. Dr. Colovos teamed with Emory Healthcare Network and Physician Group Practice administrators, Patrick Hammond, Matt Jernigan, MAureen Haldeman, and T.K. Everett to develop the initiative.
The combined network of nearly 60 locations in the Atlanta area will offer urgent care and non-urgent family health care clinic options. As part of the Emory Healthcare Network (EHN), all locations will provide the same quality of care as the current network members and will be linked to the EHN patient records system.
