Dr. Liebzeit joined the Emory University School of Medicine faculty in 2006. He received his MD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at Northwestern University/McGaw Center for Graduate Medical Education, earning Honors in Education.
Dr. Liebzeit is the recipient of the Young Educator of the Year Award (given by Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine) as well as the Emory Emergency Medicine Resident Advocate Award.
Dr. Liebzeit is a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. His research interests include the creation and evaluation of novel curricula for undergraduate medical education, particularly in the role of the final year of medical school.
